Sensationalist stories is all that I read
Editorials outnumber the truth
Contorting all the minds of our impressionable youth
Eagerly exploited we devour the pages
Of hypocrites and conflicts of interests for the ages
Stuck inside this hyperbolic echo chamber
History would tell us we are all in danger

Ensnared by my own following, I cant betray sources I have known
History repeating online and in reality
Fill the pixels on every screen
Opinion columns masquerading as reporting
Enforcing pre-existing biases within me
Filling up my mind with cacophony
Of dishonesty just for hit of dopamine

What should I believe
When every outlet is out to deceive me
There is no wrong or right
Only this media landscape made of blight

With these breakdowns we can fight this sickness
Let them hear our voices and scream with me
Drown out the lies with Synaptic Suffering
Drown this cacophony

How can we find a solution that has no answer
How can we prove what is true through all of the slander
How can we ever escape from this echo chamber?
